Don’t forget: from 4pm on Sunday 31 March, a short 8 minute drive from the parking area for the Long event, at the Rerewhakaaitu Settlers Hall, we have our social event.

There will be three food carts in attendance to grab yourself a snack or early dinner. Please support them for driving all the way from Tauranga. EFTPOS available. You are welcome to bring your own drinks.

There is good swimming in Lake Rerewhakaaitu near the hall. We will also be running a fun three-legged race at the Rerewhakaaitu Primary School across the road. There will be a small Easter treat for everyone who completes the course, and the winning pair will get a special prize.

The prizegiving at approximately 5.30pm will cover the Long event and the Orienteering NZ Annual Awards. We request that all Long prizewinners come up to the front/speaker area before we commence the awards to ensure we can have an efficient prizegiving.

We encourage everyone to come along and enjoy a fun, social and relaxed prizegiving and social event.

It would be helpful if you are planning on attending to click on ‘going’ on the facebook event page, as that gives us an idea of numbers for foodcart catering purposes.
